And then the interior of the cathedral itself isn't changed. The outside of the cathedral looks so much more epic. Here's an example: In Revision, I love the run-up to the Cathedral. Or often there will be a map that was changed in many really interesting and fun ways, plus a handful of bad ways. It's worth playing.ĮDIT: I just wanted to emphasize that while the map changes in Revision are a mixed bag, some of them are really really good. Some of them inspired me to explore for hours and take screenshots of the beauty. Some of their map changes felt pointless.
That mod has the chutzpah seriously modify the maps in dramatic and incredible ways. the first time I came out of the subway in Hells Kitchen and looked up, I was like "Holy shit, I'm in Blade Runner". It's basically just a bit of polish on the original game. GMDX fixes a lot of gameplay annoyances with Deus Ex and the improvements are on the subtle side.
